The Scene Show March 6th '08
The show was a hoot - burlesque night, dancers and roller derby girls, plus our favorite hard core all girl band - Schmuckerstar (or whatever they're calling themselves these days). Here's the video that our friend Punky shot for us while juggling beers and bouncing off the crowd up front. Hope you enjoy it. Click HERE to see it.

Tattoo Voodoo Review
THE WEAZELS - TATTOO VOODOO - 2007
The first thing you notice is the rawness, and for well over half of this disc it works. Still what remains is a pure rock n roll freak out. So gut drenching untamed and rough, it sounds like you've stepped into an out of control rock n roll meltdown.
We'll fast forward, and come back later to the priors, to the third cut on the disc, Crazy - it's the big riff about the bitch from hell, and we ALL know it! A classic rock n roller if there is one....it has similar blood as the rockabilly coup de grace that opens the disc - Christmas Morning -, big riffs leads and punch. Overall, concerning punch, The Weazels succeeded in a good clean recording of the raw goods, but the disc is mastered quiet, which is good for those who like loud clean recordings. All the music sounds great with good use of effects and frequency division seperated well in most instances, a few spots of off-phase stuff, but that's the norm for lots of indie stuff, no way around it, you just get it and go sometimes.
The Weazels have stuff like 'Smokin' and Drinkin", another timeless lifestyle classic. The jam is hot and heavy right in line with the bottom end as they tear through Trigger. When The Weazels stay with the big beat boogie woogie, they can't go wrong. When they get it right you can feel it.

Glendale Rock
Thursday March 6th at 9pm - The Weazels at The Scene in Glendale opening for Suckerstar, a kickass all girl LA band that will leave you breathless! Too much rock for one night but we'll pack it in for you. Come with an appetite for tonal destruction. The combination of these two bands would be enough but on top of that it's burlesque night at The Scene - anything can happen. Check out our SHOWS page for more info and directions to the gig.

Love Bomb Review
The Weazels - Love Bomb
This sh!t friggin rocks. Plenty of Angus style major riffage, smoke & whiskey vocals, fat bottoms and fat leads. Stuff you buy a 12 pack to kick back with and after it's over, you're trashed with a big fat goofy smile on your face as you hit replay, over and over. Each go around the feedback and rough edges just start soundin' prettier, like that old worn down barfly that you know with just a few more, she's Miss America.
The Weazels are the type of band that starts a fistfight that everyone cheers on and hollers for more. It's like a jacked-up, to hell with it all Saturday night. "Screamin' Like A Bitch", the title of the song says it all. Every so often this type of straight up rock n roll gets hot again, and it's a relief from all the angst and dark theatre so prevalent in the mainstream today.
You and yours can make love to this, fight to this, or get arrested to this. Real rock n roll in the classic sense. Hot singles off this disc are also "Dirty" and "Miss Me". Cop some killa, you ain't sh!t if you ain't Weazeled.
